Robbie took me to the Cougar Kickoff that they have every fall. Athletes from all the fall sports were there and they had games and things for all the little kids. It was fun.
I had no idea that I had a 2nd cousin who was a cheerleader for BYU or that even went to BYU. Demetri is Aunt Kathy and Uncle Dewey's grandson. Robbie said that at the basketball games, the cheerleaders have a competition to see who can hold up a girl in one hand for the longest. He said Demetri usually wins. I don't doubt it. He's a pretty big boy!
I don't think Jack Sparrow plays any sports for BYU, but at least he's a cougar fan!
Members of the Lord's football team got up and talked about the upcoming season and answered questions. It was fun.
