-road trip to California for Grandpa Gary's funeral (he died on Christmas Day 2008)
-stopped to see Martha (Mom's college roommate), Keith and Jean (lifelong friends--from 1st grade...how cute!-- of my Grandpa Gary and Grandma Roberta), and Aunt Korinda and family in Utah
-Mom's 33rd birthday on the 2nd ;]
-Orlando Bloom's birthday on the 13th (don't judge me)
-Robbie's 23rd birthday on the 27th
-Rachel's 10th birthday on the 16th

March
-HAPPY EASTER!
-Rachel's friend's dad works at the Nestle plant and gave us Butterfinger Bunnies. They're my favorite. I hope Rachel and Olivia stay friends for a long time.

April
-Spring Break at Aunt Jill's house in Omaha
-Scott's 22nd birthday on the 15th and bowling birthday bash a few days later (included interesting discussions about endorphins and their school-related benefits)
-Robbie taking me to the cemetary where my ancestors are buried
-Back to school
My cousin's daugher, Haylie. They came to visit from Germany.


He came from Scotland and crossed the plains with the Mormon pioneers in the Martin (? maybe Willie) Handcart Company. Alec is named after him.

-4th of July in Provo, Utah to see Robbie and Ginger (BYU vs. Ogden soccer game=awesome seats thanks to Larry Surtees, fireworks while listening to gay Jonas Brothers at Stadium of Fire, lame-o Provo parade, excellent cooking by my brother included hamburgers and steak, and wonderful hospitality from Ginger who let me stay at her apartment)
-First motorcycle ride from "Motorcycle Steve"
-Trip to Yellowstone for my roommate, Ferren's, family reunion
-Pool Volleyball every Wednesday at Alpine apartments
-Kicking trash at said Pool Volleyball every Wednesday at Alpine apartments
-Visit from Robbie and his roommate, Jon (Tour of the closed BYU-I campus, Gringo's for lunch, Mesa Falls, Sand Dunes, Kayaking on the Salmon/2nd-most terrifying experience of my life)
August
-HOME FOR 7 WEEKS!!
-Family Reunion
-Daddy/Daughter trip to King's Island to ride the new rollercoaster, "Diamondback" (It's awesome by-the-way)
-Family trip to the Indiana State Fair

-First time ever at a drive-in (saw GI Joe)

-Road trip with Maria for General Conference weekend (Super Spiritual weekend=2nd row seats to BYU vs. USU football game and 1st time ever at General Conference)
-Last time to see Sam Matern before he left on his mission to Brazil

-Cross Country championships in single digit weather (at least it was above zero!), placed 8th
-Alec's 14th birthday on the 18th
-Thanksgiving Break=Road trip to Provo with Maria, BYU vs. Air Force game (we shot George Q.), went to various classes with poor BYU kids who still have school the week of Thanksgiving, making fun of "New Moon," getting rear-ended (Ginger didn't break me), BYU vs. Southern game, visit with Sarah's extended familia...especially Adam, Thanksgiving with my extended family, BYU vs. Weber State, BYU VS. UTAH
December
-David Archuleta concert with Maria and Lakesha
-Sarah's 21st/booze-drinking-eligible birthday on the 17th
-Finals/my 20th birthday on the 18th (also, DELICIOUS birthday dinner with Maria and her roommates)
-Road trip with Maria to Logan (Thanks for letting me stay at your house, Maria!!)
-Stuck in Denver for 24 hours (tied with kayaking for 2nd-most terrifying experience of my life)
-FINALLY HOME!
-No birthday cake for me because I'm the Forgotten Child
-Lovely new camera for my birthday & Christmas
-Steak 'n' Shake with the Fam and later with the Bestie
-Family trip to Chrismas at the Zoo
-Christmas with the New Castle missionaries
